What is PermaTech®?
PermaTech® by NexGEN features advanced, high-performance surface layer protection. Our composite decking is engineered using ionomer polymers to offer exceptional durability and strength. Through a co-rotating extrusion process, it seamlessly bonds a proprietary cap to a hardwood and polyethylene core – resulting in a surface that’s highly resistant to stains, fading, and scratches. NexGEN’s hardwood-filled PermaTech® composite decking consists of reclaimed wood fibres and recycled plastic.
Our exclusive Fiberon boards use recycled wood from cabinets, salvaged lumber, door frames, window trim, and other materials that were once headed for landfill. The plastic used is harvested from milk jugs, plastic bags, and detergent bottles, lessening the environmental impact. Our composite boards are also recyclable at the end of their lifetime, making them a more sustainable choice of material for your new deck.
